Free Maritime Training Course May 6 to June 21

Are you looking to get started in the maritime industry? Not sure where to start or how to get trained. Marimed Foundation offers a free 6-week maritime training course that gives students an introduction into the industry. This is a blended course with three weeks of online and three weeks of in-person hands on learning. After completing the course we will work with you to figure out what is the best pathway in to the industry for you.

MCE 53 Cohort May 6 to June 21, 2024 (Native Hawaiian Cohort, Non Native Hawaiians may sign up for the course and will be put in as scholarship funds become available)

April 25 & 26 (Interviews)

May 6 to May 24 (Online Coursework)

May 28 to May 31 (In-person learning)

June 3 to June 7 (In-person learning)

June 17 to June 21 (5 day voyage within the Hawaiian Islands)

This course does not allow for any absences. Please make sure your schedule will allow for you to attend all in-person learning days
