Shimp Farm Technician

Job Title: Shrimp Farm Technician (Shrimp Farm)

Moana Technologies LLC (MTLLC), located at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii (NELHA) in Kailua-Kona, is dedicated to the selective breeding and genetic improvement of Penaeus monodon (black tiger shrimp).

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform animal care duties accurately on the different aspects of the operations.

Performs selections, tagging, transfer and harvesting of animals.

Prepare and clean tanks by pressure washing tanks and setting up for stocking and assist in the repair and regular upkeep as required.

Follow company biosecurity protocols and safety procedures

Adhere to company non-disclosure and assignment agreement

Perform other farm duties as needed or directed by the Lead/Senior Aquaculture Technician and or supervisor
