Dairy Milker

The Hawai'i Island Goat Dairy is looking for a part-time milker to join our team! We currently have Thursday and Friday morning shifts, and Sunday evening shift open, with the opportunity to pick up other shifts as available. Morning shift starts at 7am, evening shift starts at 4pm, and the shifts take about 4 hours. Experience is not required, but must be comfortable working with animals. This position is physically demanding.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years or older

Large animal experience is a plus

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Self-motivated

Good at multitasking

Have an eye for cleanliness and organization

Safety conscious

Must have reliable transportation

Must be reliable

Willingness to learn

DUTIES:

Feeding and cleaning up after goats

Milking 50-70 goats on a rotational milk line

Setup and cleanup of milking equipment
