Cashier / Food Prep - Yama's Fish Market (near UH)

Yama’s Fish Market is looking for efficient, enthusiastic and energetic front counter help! Must be able to multi-task and work quickly to service our busy lunch and dinner crowd! The ideal candidate communicates well, is clean cut, and familiar with local and Hawaiian food. He or she consistently follows procedures and takes pride in giving excellent customer service. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work at a brisk pace. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in written and oral form in English. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds.

Shifts

Part-time: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Full-time: Must be able to work any scheduled morning, afternoon or weekend shift.

Duties

Taking and completing customer food orders

Ringing up sales accurately

Maintaining well-stocked, clean and neat showcases

Performing other front counter support tasks.

Helping support food prep (training provided)
