Bartender - The Club at Hokulia

The Club at Hokulia is looking for a bartender to join our team!

Our bartenders are often the first point of contact in our dining experience and are responsible for ensuring members and their guests have a positive experience at the club by exhibiting excellent customer service.

Our ideal candidate would have:

Minimum of 2 years bartending experience.

Good knowledge of spirits, wines and wine service.

Experience working in a fine dining environment preferred.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests following the standard recipes.

Provide food service at the bar as well as table service when required.

Provide the highest quality food and beverage service as required by Hokulia service standards.

Take food and beverage orders and process them through the POS.

Interact with members and guests in a professional, positive, cooperative and friendly manner.

Suggest, open and serve fine wines and cocktails.

Maintain an attractive and clean bar and equipment, replenish bar supplies with a correct Par and detail all glassware.

Requisition liquors and bar supplies using proper procedures.

Assist team with set-up and break-down of dining room and special functions

Attends pre-shift meetings

Assist with monthly inventory procedures

Observe the rules and regulations very strictly with respect to serving alcoholic drinks to potentially intoxicated patrons and minors.

Must be able to commit to the hours of operation and understand that seasonal hours will fluctuate due to the higher volume of members visiting and their expectations as related to dining and service.

Requirement to be in the proper and complete uniform as designated and be at scheduled station at the scheduled time.

Ability to work as a team player and carry out wine and food service policies and procedures.
