Data Analyst
Hawaii, Hawaii, 96801 Hawaii USATEKsystems is partnering with a local healthcare insurance company on the island. This mostly remote role requires the candidate to be based in Hawaii and work in the Hawaii time zone. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying areas for improvement to enhance the member and provider end-user experience. Understand and align enterprise and clinical integration goals, strategies, objectives, and operational needs of business units.
Facilitate identifying and creating supportive, high-value, and actionable information and analytics.
Develop comprehensive and coherent sets of data and analytic (D&A) requirements.
Prepare and present relevant and actionable information in an easy-to-understand and visually appealing manner.
Gather and synthesize information from multiple sources to derive meaningful insights that support achieving strategic and operational objectives.
Facilitate seamless communication among Clinical Integration, other business units, IT, and D&A teams to ensure shared understanding and high-quality data and analytic work products.
Collaborate with internal and external departments and teams.
This position requires the ability to think strategically, cultivate relationships and collaborations across departments – including business and clinical partners, and utilize data to create and communicate insightful data-derived conclusions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or a related discipline.
At least 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or a Data Research Analyst.
Proficiency in R and/or Python.
Strong understanding of data and analytics (D&A) requirements development.
Ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate seamless communication among various departments and stakeholders.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
Compensation: This position offers a pay range of $28 - 38 per hour, depending on experience.
