Early Childhood Teacher's Aide

Preschool Aide position

8:00 am - 12:00 pm( may change to longer hours if needed)

Monday- Friday

Assist classroom staff in planning, organization, supervision and implementation of all classroom activities.

Communicate with parents and relay information to the teacher regarding the child and family.

Regular attendance

Assist with the promotion of positive methods of child guidance.

Ensure classroom activities and practices are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Possesses imagination and ideas to promote an age appropriate learning environment.

Self directed leader

Excellent interpersonal skills, which include, verbal,written, and listening

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning information about children, families and staff.

Ability to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth for program children.

Education and /or Experiences

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience in working in an early childhood setting is preferred

Complete and pass all State Licensing requirements

CPR/ First Aid

16 hours of perfessionlism a school year
