Teacher/Private Christian School (Lihue)

Olelo Christian Academy is seeking a Christ-focused teacher to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. Must have a servant heart and love the Lord!

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Teach combination classes

- Assess and monitor student progress and growth

- Plan and implement an effective behavior management program for the classroom

- Maintain accurate records for grades and attendance

- Be flexible and willing to help in all areas as needed

- Collaborate with fellow staff/teachers/volunteers to help provide an excellent, Christ-centered education for all students

Qualifications:

- Passionate about working with children

- Positive and patient demeanor

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education (preferred) or teaching experience
