This role involves acting independently to determine appropriate methods on potential assignments and creating a formal network with key stakeholders of critical projects. This role is a member of the Business Analysis Team and reports directly to the Business Analysis, Manager or Director. Acentra Health supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals. This high-volume system operates out of multiple data centers and must reliably be available to its clients 7x24x365.Position is remote, based in the state of Georgia, may require up to 25% travel.Job Responsibilities: Business Analysis:
Functions as an individual contributor and works independent of supervision
Is recognized as an expert in the business analysis field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practice
Identifies areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost
Develops and modifies documentation related to complex projects and information systems as an expert in the field
Conducts complex and vital work critical to the organization and works with complete latitude for independent judgment
Develops multi-program business analysis strategies and communicates expert knowledge to customers and industry experts
Works closely with cross-functional leadership to improve business analysis quality across the enterprise
Works closely with cross-functional principals, specialists, and senior management
Proposes end-to-end technical solutions for complex business requirements
Proposes implementation strategy for complex business functionality
Creates conceptual design and writes technical specifications for business requirements
Provides effort estimates to project managers for system enhancements
Facilitates proposal development by providing technical solution write-ups and pricing estimates
Researches and evaluates industry trends and technologies for solving complex technical problem
Frequently applies in-depth Business Analysis knowledge to review and analyze systems problems and identify solutions
Offers expert advice on process improvements and technical solutions, leveraging specialty experience
Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
Uses cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis to create and modify requirements documents and design specifications
Analyzes user requirements and client business needs, leveraging expert opinion and expertise
Acts as the requirements subject matter expert and supports requirements change management
Ensures bi-directional traceability of requirements
Works on issues that impact design and selling success or that address future concepts or technologies
Prioritizes and schedules work assignments based on the project plan, handling multiple tasks across project phases
Creates and modifies complex Business Process Models, ensuring quality
Understands the overall system architecture and cross-functional integration
Demonstrates expertise in business analysis knowledge through the creation of white papers and through the facilitation of business analysis workshops, as required
Functions as an expert across 2-3 Acentra Health's products and solutions, leveraging in-depth knowledge and expertise
Works on issues that impact the Business Analysis team’s success
Addresses future concepts, products, and technologies
Works closely with key decision makers to provide expert opinion to influence strategy and approach for the Business Analysis team and cross-functionally

Self-motivated, with ability to balance multiple projects independently
Conducts requirements management activities and participates in design session activities
Provides industry insights, market trends, and best practices to influence continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with senior management
Demonstrates strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure business analysis objectives are achieved
Customer:
Possesses unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence
Provides customer-facing presentations on quality and presents solutions for complex technical issues
Oversees client demos
Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments, and incorporates industry best practices (including federal regulations)
Talent Development:
Requests and gives both negative and positive feedback
Provides advanced technical and business analysis guidance related to multiple subject matter areas, serving as a mentor to less experienced developers and cross-functional teams
Conducts code reviews and provides improvement feedback to Senior and Specialist Business Analysts
Establishes sound working relationships between team leads and system owners
Guides and trains Business Analysis staff on understanding new technologies and best practices
Encourages and facilitates the development of a significant knowledge base in others
RequirementsRequired Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with 10+ years of business analysis experience
Experience with the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
8+ years of Lead Business Analyst experience on large complex projects
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience in the healthcare industry
Understanding of SharePoint applications, Webex, Skype, etc.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio, with a working knowledge of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite of applications
Knowledge of requirement management tools such as Reqrace Web, Jira, CaliberRM, RequisitePro, Rational Doors Next-Generation
Strong knowledge and proficiency in SQL
Ability to partner with business units and other technology departments in implementation of major initiatives
Ability to research, devise, and implement organizational and process maturity initiatives
Ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities
Ability to use newly acquired expertise to make a strategic impact on processes and business
Technical understanding with ability to communicate technical impact, technical solutions, root cause, and corrective actions into business concepts or layman’s terms
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, facilitation) with strong presentation and facilitation skills at all levels in the organization (from individual contributor to executive level)
Ability to recommend effective solution for customer pain points
Ability to meet deadlines and deliver to commitments
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field
