Description Roles and Responsibilities:●Collaborate with small business clients to understand their unique tax needs and develop tailored tax strategies.●Prepare and review various tax returns, including business (Schedule C, S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnerships), Trust, and individual tax returns.●Stay updated with tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.●Manage client books including proactively optimizing bookkeeping processes and utilizing accounting software and various integrations.●Analyze financial statements and provide strategic recommendations to improve business performance and profitability.●Research complex tax matters and provide tailored guidance on unusual situations or specific industry-related tax issues.●Conduct comprehensive tax planning, identifying potential deductions, credits, and incentives for clients.●Assist clients in managing payroll, ensuring compliance with tax withholding and reporting requirements.●Proactively remaining aware of changes to tax law and new compliance standards●Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing their tax-related questions or concerns.●Provide summary reports to owners on performance and the status of existing clients.●Collaborate with a team of tax professionals, sharing knowledge and best practices to deliver exceptional service.Required experience and qualifications:●Must be licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA)●3-5 years of successful experience in tax planning and preparation, preferably with a focus on small businesses.●Strong knowledge of small business accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and payroll processes.●Excellent understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.●Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate tax filings.●Exceptional communication and interperson Requirements Complex Tax Return, CPA, Corporate Tax Return, Payroll Tax Returns, Property Tax Returns, Sales Tax Returns, S-Corps, Tax - Individual, Tax Planning Strategies, Tax Planning Strategies Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
