Lab Technician (Concrete)

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting quality control/assurance testing on specific construction products and materials. This role consists of physical labor, fabrication of samples, testing of samples, and recording of data. This could include mixing and batching of concrete, cement, epoxies, coatings, steel, aggregates, or consumer product testing.Shoveling and mixing concretePerform fabrication of test samples (weigh ingredients and mix using the mixer)Clean and assemble molds or special equipmentPerform testing in accordance with applicable standardsProvide technical advice on testing techniques and solutionsAdhere to internal standards, policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned
