In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Programs within the Cloud Platform organization in Enterprise Platform Engineering & Operations, ensuring strategic alignment and effective utilization of resources. Your primary focus will be on providing overall oversight of Cloud Platform & Transformation Portfolio, balancing risk, and innovation to enhance our Cloud posture across the enterprise.What you'll doPortfolio Management:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of IT Cloud investments.

Prioritize projects based on strategic objectives, risk assessment, and organizational priorities.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of Cloud investments to ensure alignment with business goals.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and define strategic goals for IT Cloud investments.

Contribute to the development of a long-term IT Cloud & SRE roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.

Risk Management:

Assess and manage risks associated with Cloud & SRE investments, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

Stay informed about emerging threats and industry trends to proactively address potential risks.

Financial Oversight:

Manage the financial aspects of Cloud & SRE projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking expenditures.

Provide regular financial reports and updates to leadership, highlighting key investment metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with IT, Cloud & SRE teams to ensure seamless integration of investments into overall IT infrastructure.

Foster collaboration with other departments to promote a holistic approach to Cloud and SRE management.

Foster a collaborative and innovation work environment.

Cloud Research:

Drive the development and execution of Cloud & SRE innovation research strategy.

Collaborate with senior management to align efforts with organizational goals.

Lead, mentor and inspire a team of skilled EPEO team members.

Provide oversight and guidance throughout the lifecycle of a research project.

You'll have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

4+ years of experience in a portfolio management, program management or a related role (Cloud is strongly preferred)

3+ years of experience leading large scale technology upgrades and integration and similar projects.

Even better, you may have

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience working with technical teams especially Cloud or Site Reliability Engineers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills experience with a keen attention to detail.

Experience with Safe AGILE methodology, Agile Methodology or Agile release trains

Experience with Jira, Rally or related tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams from leaders to team members.

Proven ability to break down barriers and partner with demanding teams to accomplish highly visible projects.

Be an independent thinker with the ability to seek out solutions to challenging or ambiguous problems.

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
