Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Team Associate to join our food service team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food preparation and cleanliness standards are met. This role requires teamwork, efficiency, and a passion for delivering high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation:

Assist with the preparation and assembly of menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.

Ensure all food is properly stored, labeled, and handled to maintain freshness and safety.

Kitchen Operations:

Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation and storage areas.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Assist in restocking supplies and ingredients as needed.

Sanitation and Safety:

Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper cleaning and sanitizing of utensils, workstations, and equipment.

Dispose of waste and recyclables following kitchen protocols.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about needs or issues.

Customer Service:

Occasionally assist in serving customers, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures.

Requirements:

Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards (or willingness to learn).

Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
