- Manage and/or support technology projects throughout the project lifecycle (Initiate, Plan & Design, Execute, Monitor & Control, and Close).
- Establishes schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs
- Works with the Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects
- Cooperates with the Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap
- Assist the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
- Lead effort to streamline / operationalize release management activities, e.g., refine migration process (i.e., QA to Production), capacity planning, and resource planning.
- Develop project documents, such as charters, schedules, RACI, etc.
- Support meetings (develop agendas, capture meeting notes, etc.).Organize and coordinate project activities, e.g., schedule workshops and meetings; follow up on tasks / action items.
- Supplies detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status
- Works closely together and communicates with developers, designers, stakeholders, and technical team members
- 7-10 years of experience working in a project management role
- Experience developing Microsoft Project schedules to include dependencies and resource management.
- Experience developing project plans/ charters, schedules, communication plans, requirements, test plans, test scripts, and status reports.
- Skilled at monitoring / tracking project progress.
- Experienced with updating and managing actions, risks and issues logs.
- Experience with organizing and coordinating meetings and workshops.
- Experienced with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio and MS Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to share ideas both with the business and internal IT teams.
- Experience working with vendors and multiple business and technical stakeholders.
- Project Management Professional Certification - PMP, PMI or equivalent
- Prior implementation experience in an integrated health care information systems environment
- Experience in Medicaid related projects
