Traffic Signal Technician

AECOM is seeking a Traffic Signal Technician for various transportation projects. Responsibilities and Tasks include but are not limited to the following:Installation and RepairPerforming work required to install, maintain, modify, and repair traffic signal equipment and associated apparatus, including: Traffic signals, controllers (microprocessor-based), detectors, and wiringResponding to emergency and/or damage situations (e.g., traffic accidents) to restore signals to normal operationTroubleshooting and MaintenanceDiagnosing and correcting causes of failures in electronic, electrical, and mechanical systemsPerforming scheduled preventive maintenanceAdjusting detectors, timing controllers, and making signal timing changes as directedField Operations:Working from technical sketches, blueprints, and schematics to perform repairs and installations
