This involves extracting, collecting, analyzing and interpreting contracting terms, utilization and financial data from many sources to address business questions regarding contracted rates, quality measures, panel establishment, product design, and other business needs. These activities require advanced technical, analytic and consultative skills, extensive knowledge of health care data and information systems, health care benefits, health care financing and health care delivery systems. Responsible for the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with internal and external clients and colleagues. Acts as the analytic team lead for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks, providing individual mentoring in support of company objectives.Required Qualifications
6+ year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools
Proficiency using SAS/SQL/Python/R for data retrieval, manipulation, and transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data integrity
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Well-versed in data analysis and data transformation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
Strong collaboration and communication skills (written/oral) with the ability to communicate analyses, technical ideas, and results to non-technical clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams.
Excellent knowledge using Excel, Access, Visio, Word and/or PowerPoint.
Willingness to understand customers' needs and to create business strategies around them.
Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of healthcare data analytics experience.
Advanced Excel modeling skills with experience owning complex models end-to-end
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare
EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$54,300.00 - $119,340.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.
