This role involves managing a team of cooks, and kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes meet Levy Restaurants' standards and exceed guest expectations. The Suites Chef Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Suites Sous Chef to create and execute upscale menus.QualificationsExperience:
Minimum of 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
Previous supervisory experience within a culinary setting, preferably in a stadium, hotel, or event venue.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for innovation and high-quality presentation.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervision & Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage the culinary team within the suites, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Coordinate with the to schedule kitchen staff, ensuring adequate coverage during events and maintaining labor costs within budget.
Conduct regular training sessions to ensure all culinary staff are up to date on food safety standards, cooking techniques, and menu items.
Culinary Excellence:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes served in the suites, ensuring consistency, taste, and quality.
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring that the kitchen is adequately stocked with fresh ingredients, and manage waste to maximize efficiency.
Operational Efficiency:
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working order, coordinating with maintenance when necessary.
Implement and uphold all health and safety regulations, including food handling, storage, and cleanliness.
Guest Experience:
Work closely with the service team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery during events.
Gather feedback from guests to continuously improve the suite dining experience.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, monitoring food costs, and managing kitchen expenditures to ensure profitability.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, waste, and labor, providing reports to the Executive Chef as required.
Participate in menu planning and tastings, offering creative input and ensuring menus are feasible for execution.
