Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Cash Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day cash management functions for all grants and contracts within our client's institution. The ideal candidate will possess strong account reconciliation skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of cash management principles. Experience in the higher education industry is preferred.Responsibilities:

Direct and manage all aspects of cash management operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.

Monitor and reconcile cash balances, including bank accounts and grant-specific funds, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, accounting, and grant management, to ensure alignment of cash management practices with organizational objectives.

Evaluate and streamline cash management processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.

Prepare and analyze cash management reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices related to cash management and financial reporting.

Strong account reconciliation experience - reconcile accounts that have been variance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA) is a plus.

Proven experience in cash management, treasury operations, or financial analysis.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with grant and contract management processes in the higher education industry is preferred.
