Job SummaryThe Client Services Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics team strives to create an open, trusting data culture where the cost of curiosity – the number of steps, amount of time, and complexity of effort needed to use operational data to derive insights – is as low as possible.  We govern Client Services’ operational data and metrics, create easily usable dashboards and data sources, and analyze data to share insights.We are a part of the Client Services Global Business Operations function and work with all levels of stakeholders, from executive leaders sharing insights with the C-Suite to customer-facing colleagues who rely on our assets to incorporate data to their daily responsibilities.The Director of BI Governance will lead a team responsible making Client Services’ data easier, more stable, and more secure for our internal customers.  This role is focused on maximizing the value of Client Services’ BI investments and encompasses a subset of traditional Data Governance responsibilities.  The team is responsible for the policies, processes, and tools that will allow business and data experts across Client Services to use data better.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of analysts and solution managers within the Client Services (CS) BI & Analytics teamUtilize Agile practices to create and maintain a BI Governance program for Client Services including, but not limited to:Measuring and monitoring usage of our tools and assetsCertifying a Single Version of the Truth for CS-wide metricsEnhancing the performance, usability, and security of our platformsIdentifying business-user created BI content that is a candidate for expansionEnsure users from across Client Services can easily access, understand, and use appropriate dataAct as a Data Steward and liaison to the Chief Data Office, ensuring a seamless integration between Visa’s enterprise-wide capabilities and Client Services’ last-mile BI solutionsPartner with our Engineering team to ensure all data assets meet our standards for certification and ease of useServe as a domain expert, providing mentorship which helps team members grow their skills and careers in dataCommunicate openly with stakeholders to ensure your deliverables meet business needsBe a thought leader who grows the data culture of Visa’s Client Services functionThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
