Cleaners front desk

As a Front Desk Attendant at a dry cleaning establishment, you will be the first point of contact for customers. Your responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, receiving garments, tagging and sorting items for cleaning, handling transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. You will also be responsible for end-of-day closing duties, ensuring the store is secured and ready for the next business day.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide excellent service with a friendly and professional demeanor

Receive, inspect, and sort garments for cleaning

Accurately tag and log clothing items using the store’s tracking system

Manage customer pickups and handle payments and receipts

Maintain a clean and organized front desk and customer area

Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone

Perform closing procedures, including cleaning, reconciling the cash register, and securing the premises
