Georgia, Alpharetta, 30004 Alpharetta USADescription We are offering an exciting opportunity for a GIS Director to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. The GIS Director will play a crucial role in designing and implementing geospatial solutions, managing enterprise GIS environments, and leading a team to deliver exceptional results. This role is an excellent fit for those experienced in GIS concepts, data and application development, and project management.Responsibilities: Design and implement a broad range of geospatial solutions for various applications and environments Apply advanced GIS concepts to real-world solutions Manage enterprise GIS environments ensuring smooth operations Familiarize with and utilize ESRI technology for GIS solutions Understand general technology stacks and integrate GIS solutions into the overall architecture Administer general accounting practices, budgeting, and project management tasks Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results Lead a team by providing coaching, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Maintain strong organizational and time management skills Solve problems with excellent abilities and provide exceptional customer service Demonstrate self-motivation and proactivity Foster an inclusive work environment, treating all individuals indiscriminately regardless of their characteristicsRequirements Candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies is a must. Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems is essential. Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP Solutions is crucial. Ability to work with Backup Technologies is necessary. Proficiency in Computer Hardware is required. Experience in handling Contracts is a must. Ability to manage Deployments effectively is essential. Knowledge and experience in providing Deskside Support is required. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to coordinate a team effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven experience in strategic planning and execution. Ability to analyze complex data and create comprehensive reports. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, a master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in a similar role is a must.
