- The Help Desk Support Specialist is responsible for providing support and technical assistance to the company's employees, and will join the company's fast growing IT Department.
- The Help Desk Support Specialist will be responsible for answering requests and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and respond promptly to incoming requests related to IT issues
- Maintain ticket system with a clear record of activities for every incident reported to IT
- Provide clear communication and guidance to users during incidents and throughout resolution of the issue(s)
- Diagnosing system errors and other issues
- Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems
- Setup, maintain and troubleshoot PCs and VoIP phone systems
- Install and troubleshoot peripheral devices such as printers, scanners and mobile/smart phones
- Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance
- Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems
- Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with the IT Department Guidelines
- Escalate issues as needed to ensure their prompt resolution
- Ability to prioritize workflow independently
- Follow all IT Department standards and checklists
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience (at least three years) preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with the following systems as an administrator is preferred:
- Office 365
- Azure admin experience
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012r2 to 2019
- Windows 10 setup, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Microsoft certification in Windows 10, Office 365 or Azure, or other certifications is preferred
- Base Salary from $50k - $70k
