What does a great software development manager do?• Create an exciting environment for development teams and make work a great experience for them• Participate in setting both technical and product direction for an internet banking platform• Use experience to help drive the organization to reach its platform modernization goals, including migration to the cloud• Responsible for talent management - evaluate team members, establish goals and complete performance reviews• Facilitate release planning with product management to ensure product delivery expectations are met each quarter• Prepare and present team status to upper management• Create training plans and programs• Engage management in other parts of the organization to ensure business alignment on projects and delivery• Ensure adherence to SDLC and PDLC standards and processes• Plan the growth of your organization
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:• B.S. or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent• Minimum 4 years' experience in a software management or product management role required• Management within an Agile environmentPreferred Skills, Experience, and Education: (Optional) Preferred qualifications shouldn't be used to screen candidates out but rather to help narrow down the selection process.
