Contract Remote Systems Administrator Wanted

We need a remote systems administrator to assist in the migration of our VMWARE Shared servers to VMWAre as a service within IBM ecosystem. We are a fintech company with a virtual office so remote work is required, however you must be a U.S. Citizen located in the U.S., preferrably on the east coast. No offshore candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the VMWARE Shared migration to VMWare as a Service.

- Assist in migration or upgrade of RedHat/ Centos servers to Rocky 8

- Depending on qualifications, assisting with front end development.

Requirements:

- IBM Cloud

- VMWare (Cloud Director)

- Linux Administration

- Server migrations

- L.A.M.P. Stack

- BASH scripting skills

- MySQL including stored procedures and functions

- Python scripting experience

- Ansible

- Good working knowledge of CentOS with seLinux

- Git

- Network Administration

- Project Management

- Database Administration

Pluses:

- PHP

- Good working knowledge of REST APIs

- Javascript / jQuery front end coding

- Java
