TURF PARTS RUNNER

H&J Contracting, Inc. has immediate opening for a full-time parts runner. Qualified candidate must have a valid FL driver’s license, clean driving record, and clean criminal background. This job requires driving to various locations with frequent stops. No CDL license required. Must have ability to lift 80 lbs. or more. Must have availability to work Saturdays and overtime daily.

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and follow directions

Under general supervision of the Parts Supervisor, perform a variety of duties may include but not limited to:

Drive a company vehicle to pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment.

processing delivery, and/or storing of parts and equipment in the parts warehouse.

Perform related work, and other duties as assigned.

Candidate must be attentive to detail and can work well independently

Must be able to haul parts and equipment on a trailer. (Will be tested on ability to operate a trailer and load small equipment on and off of the trailer.)

Must have a reliable transportation, work history and a valid Florida driver’s license.

You will be given a road test for your knowledge of pulling a trailer behind a truck.
