Join Our Team as a Caregiver for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Earn a full week of pay in less than two days!

Position: Caregiver for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Group Home Setting

Location: Oakland Park, Only a few blocks from I-95 and Oakland Park Boulevard.

Pay: $17 / hr

Start: Saturday at 5:00 PM

End: Monday at 9:00 AM

Please understand this is a continuous 38-hour shift. There is ample downtime throughout the day and evening after completing required tasks. During nighttime hours, clients typically retire to their bedrooms by 9:00 PM.

Qualifications:

MUST have a High School Diploma or GED (HHA is not accepted in place of a high school diploma or GED)

Caregiving experience

Must pass a background check

Will need to be certified in First Aid / CPR (can be done after hire date if necessary)

Maturity and intuition to know how to prevent, minimize, and resolve conflict.

Per housekeeping duties: Able to push / pull sofas and twin beds, and flexibility to bend / squat such as in cleaning a

bathroom

Must be willing to participate in outings, walks to the parks, and surrounding establishments.

Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication

administration

Offer personalized support, including one-on-one assistance, for clients who require hands-on assistance showering and

toileting

Assist in organizing and facilitating outings and recreational activities for residents, walks to parks and nearby establishments, and including transportation to and from various destinations if needed.

Maintain a tidy and orderly living space with housekeeping duties, including laundry, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.

Must keep bedrooms orderly, and ensure bathrooms are fresh at all times.

Be able to communicate effectively with residents, their families, social workers, and other staff members to ensure

continuity of care

Complete documentation in accordance with compliance guidelines

Puntuality is a must
