Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cook/Production Prep team member to join our dynamic food truck crew. This role is vital to the success of our daily operations, ensuring that our food is prepped and cooked to perfection. You’ll be working closely with our team to prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

-Prepare ingredients for daily menu items, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making sauces.

-Cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.

-Assist with setting up and breaking down the kitchen, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.

-Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

-Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

-Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.

-Occasionally interact with customers, providing friendly and helpful service.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a food truck, restaurant, or catering setting.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food.

-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

-Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

-Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork skills.

-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during special events.
