HVAC Mechanic

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking for an HVAC Mechanic for a project in Tampa FL

PAY: $27-29/hr. (based upon experience)

HOURS: 7:00am - 3:30pm 40+ hours a week

START DATE: 10/01/2024

DURATION: Temp to Perm

Position Overview:

Will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC duct systems, ensuring efficient airflow and optimal system performance. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and hands-on experience with various duct installation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for HVAC systems.

Hang and install ductwork, including flexible duct and fiberglass duct board.

Fabricate and install offsets and 90-degree angles using fiberglass duct.

Work with snap-lock and spiral pipe systems to ensure secure and efficient ductwork.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of installed duct systems.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic / Duct Installer or similar role.

Proficient in reading blueprints and technical specifications.

Hands-on experience with ductwork installation, including hanging, running, and insulating ducts.

Knowledge of fiberglass duct board installation techniques.

Familiarity with snap-lock pipe and spiral pipe applications.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications or licenses preferred.

Additional Requirements for Solar Tech:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site
