Project Manager needed for Commercial General Contractor

Commercial Construction Project Manager needed.

Commercial General Contractor looking for a construction project manager to coordinate and supervise their team of crew members. Project Manager will be responsible for training new workers and will work closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction work. You will also be required to create and maintain construction schedules; manage and train staff, ensure construction equipment is properly maintained and keep projects on schedule and within allotted budgets. The candidate should be extremely organized with excellent time management, leadership, communication and project management skills.

Plans all phases of construction from initiation to completion

Obtains all necessary regulations and permits

Must be knowledgeable on Accela

Create and maintain a construction schedule with project goals in mind

Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed on construction sites

Read project plans, drawings, specifications and blueprints

Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, subcontractors and other workers according to priorities and plans

Knowledge of estimating new projects

Manage employees to ensure projects are kept on schedule

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
