Exterior Painter - Entry Level

25+ year old established & steadily busy painting contractor, working throughout Pinellas County, is looking for entry level exterior painters for immediate hire.

This is an opportunity to learn a trade from the ground up, with outstanding long term earning potential.

Duties include pressure washing, taping/masking, caulking, other basic paint prep, and painting with rollers & brushes.

Candidates with prior experience in painting, construction related work, or other physical jobs will be considered.

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs, do continuous physical work and be comfortable working on ladders.

Must possess a strong work ethic and have the willingness & mental ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks.

Must be able to understand directions in English.

Will be expected to produce high quality neat work once trained in a particular skill.

Work week is Monday-Friday 7:30-4.

Hiring Bonus, Holiday pay, & other compensation also available after 90 days.

Paid vacation available after 1 year.

Additional Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

FL drivers license and dependable transportation

Be able to furnish verifiable work references, showing steady work history

Be able to work our set schedule without repeated tardiness or absences

Be able to provide your own basic hand tools and painters whites pants/shorts

Be able to conduct oneself in a positive and friendly manner with coworkers and customers
