Live In Caretaker/CNA needed ASAP

Theresa Home Care, Inc. is an assisted living facility in Safety Harbor, FL taking care of elderly, mentally challenged, developmentally disabled.

Duties:

- Provide direct care to residents in nursing homes or home care settings.

- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.

- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.

- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental condition.

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding. Assist with medication administration.

- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Skills:

- Knowledge of nursing home systems and procedures.

- Experience in caregiving for elderly or disabled individuals.

- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in long-term care facilities.

- Proficiency in providing home care services.

- First aid certification is preferred.

- Ability to provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory impairments.

- Valid driver's license for transportation to home care assignments.

- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations.

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Clean Background Screening (Required)

Zero Tolerance & Core Competencies training (Preferred)

CPR Certification (Preferred)

CNA license (Preferred)

Medication Administration (Preferred)
