Sous Chef – Busy High-End Gastropub (Allswell Sarasota)
Florida, Tampa bay area, 33601 Tampa bay area USAAllswell (Waterside) Lakewood Ranch is looking for an experienced and driven Sous Chef to join our culinary team. We’re a busy, high-end gastropub known for refined comfort food, craft cocktails, and a scratch kitchen that blends creativity with consistency.
We’re seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork and precision, and takes pride in producing elevated food with approachability and style.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of sous or lead line experience in an upscale or high-volume kitchen
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
Passion for seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking
Commitment to cleanliness, consistency, and collaboration
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and service execution
Lead, train, and support the back-of-house team
Assist with ordering, inventory, and prep management
Maintain high culinary and sanitation standards
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on specials and menu development
