Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityThe Program Test Analyst Lead will specifically be supporting the Bank Financial Crimes Shared Services Team (Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud, and Disputes). On technology work efforts, the candidate will partner with key stakeholders in Agile Product Management and Information Technology (IT) – not just during the testing phase but throughout the lifecycle of the project – to ensure the testing strategy is in-line with the requirements and acceptance criteria. The candidate will be expected to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. May be asked to lead, guide and advise more junior team members.As a dedicated Program Test Analyst Lead, you will lead the testing program operations for USAA's programs and/or systems that support product performance and business operations. Leads the planning, creation and execution of testing scenarios for multiple functions. Ensures the overall quality and effectiveness of Program Releases. Leads the collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver timely feedback for quality systems. May perform regression testing and/or compliance review testing of processes affected by system enhancements and Program Releases. Ensures all activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. This position can also work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What you'll do:

Leads and influences projects related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manages the Program for assigned area of expertise.

Leads the testing program for assigned area of expertise to schedule and implement specific test activities that upgrade systems to align with business objectives and compliance/regulatory requirements.

Serves as a subject matter expert and primary resource for cross-functional team members on projects related to UAT including automation, IT projects, or product development initiatives.

Drafts policies, coordinates approvals, and maintains policies for infrastructure and software testing activities.

Works with business partners to understand key regulatory implications to processes and ensures test plans are designed to meet requirements of business.

Leads testers and provides direction on the release of testing scenarios for system upgrades that align with business objectives and compliance/regulatory requirements.

Translates complex business challenges, makes business solution proposals, and communicates the recommendation to business partners.

Acts as a liaison and primary point of contact to technical resources.

Monitors the progress of all phases of UAT; Analyzes test results and ensures all applicable testing is completed prior to any releases.

Serves as a resource to less experienced team members on escalated issues and shares knowledge with team members.

Develops and monitor reporting standards. Delivers testing updates to all levels of management that properly evaluate testing performance objectives. Makes necessary recommendations and influences stakeholders on updated proposals.

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

8 years of relevant business applications and business support experience, to include software or quality assurance testing experience, within a financial services organization.

Extensive experience in Agile Methodology and the Testing/UAT role with agile projects.

Proven experience leading end to end testing validations from inception to production.

Ability to communicate and effectively write testing rules, standards and scripts.

Extensive knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle, Project Testing Lifecycle, and Test Management tools.

Expert in Banking products and services.

Strong knowledge and application of U.S. banking laws and regulations.

What sets you apart:

Experience working in banks / financial institutions / fintech.

Experience in financial crimes – e.g., Fraud, AML – OR in another Bank Risk and Compliance domain.

Experience in User Acceptance Testing OR as a Product Owner or Scrum Master on an Agile Team.

Experience leading, guiding, and/or advising junior team members and/or third-party teams.

Basic project management skills, such as leading meetings and driving action items.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
