Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist opportunity available for 6 month contract position in Tampa Florida (33602 zip code area).Contract 6 monthsOn site daily (30- 40 hours a week)Y-Park and Ride pass providedSalary - based on experience $23-$28 per hour.RESPONSIBILITIES:Supporting 5 departments of 200 employees - processing payroll from start to endWorking with paper time sheets submitted electronically, review and certifyInputs payroll data, and prepares payroll checks and ACH deposits.Answers employee questions related to payroll, and resolves issues, handle inquiries regarding time sheets via phone, e-mail, and MS Teams.QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience

Ability to perform shift differential calculations.

Proficient with Microsoft Office/ MS Teams / Excel

Experience with Peoplesoft is a plus.
