We’re looking for a Sports Field Construction Project Manager to join our team Here’s what you’d do: The Sr. Project Manager will oversee the construction of large-scale projects from inception through completion as a key member of our Sport/Turf Team. These projects will include the construction of natural and synthetic turf fields as well and track and field installations for schools, parks, and professional organizations. This individual will be ultimately responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, cost, risk and business management of a various sports related construction projects. You’d be responsible for:

Coordinate and manage the successful planning and execution of multiple projects in various geographic locations from project award through completion and close-out.

Collaboration with the project superintendent to support both self-performed and subcontracted construction activities.

100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project documents, scope and contractual requirements.

Cost control/billings/collections/change management/cash flows/monthly status reports.

Key point of contact with owner, architect, subcontractors and vendors.

Accountable for successful project completion, financials and customer satisfaction results.

Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the Company culture, in particular, regarding safety, quality and customer service

You might be a good fit if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, Turfgrass Science

Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Project, Word, Excel and Outlook)

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the sports construction industry with knowledge of site development (sediment & erosion control, grading, concrete, asphalt, storm water, etc), natural grass and synthetic turf construction.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

Safety Certifications – OSHA 10 or 30 Hr.

Certified Sports Field Manager or Certified Field Certification credentials or the ability to obtain.
