Applications Development Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location.Duties: Coordinate with business, understanding the requirements and converting business requirements into technical artifacts. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Develop key requirements on Backend systems using Java technologies such as Spring framework 5.x, Struts framework, Java Server Faces, Micro Services, and Webservices (SOAP and RESTFUL). Develop key requirements on User Interface using Java Script, jQuery, Backbone Java Script, Angular Java Script, Html, and CSS. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Prepare the detailed documentation of user requirements and flow diagrams to understand the new requirements project flow. Divide requirements into small individual technical tasks and create JIRA’s for each task/bugs/defect and maintain the entire JIRA cycle till production release. Coordinate with offshore team in daily meetings and assign the JIRA’s to each team member and track assigned work as part of development status. Responsible for entire project software life cycle from gathering requirements to code development, code testing in environments such as development (DEV) and UAT and releasing to production. Assist the offshore team for understanding the requirements and critical logic implementations. Develop unit test cases to perform validations on developed code in development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments before releasing the code to production for go live. Analyze production tickets/issues/defects and provide the ETA for issue fix and release date. Guide the team in understanding the issue and help in resolution.Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any field) or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Programmer Analyst, Lead Consultant, Team Lead, Software Engineer, Applications Developer, Software Developer or related position involving software development. 6 years of experience must include: Integrating, deploying and maintaining application servers, including User Acceptance testing and production environments; Designing, developing, integrating and testing backend code using Java, J2EE, Spring, Web Services technology; Developing, debugging UI code using Backbone, Angular, HTML,CSS and Javascript Technologies; Building and releasing code to all environments and coordinating deployments; and Using Banking domain to implement solutions for financial processes.
