Keep Brevard Beautiful is seeking a part-time Invasive Plant Species Eradicator to assist with the removal and management of invasive plant species, including Brazilian pepper, lead tree, and Australian pine. This role involves working outdoors in wooded areas and near the river, utilizing hand tools and equipment to restore and maintain natural habitats.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Remove and manage invasive plant species

-Operate vehicles and powered equipment, including utility trailers, twin-axle vehicles, and wood chippers

-Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, chainsaws, saws, and axes

-Perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment

-Assist with other duties as assigned, including supporting team members in their tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

-Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including wooded and riverside areas

-Experience with power tools and equipment preferred

-Good driving record and ability to pass a drug test

-Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
