Caregiver Needed for 3 12 Hour Shifts - Residential Assisted Living

Caregiver Position needed for a new 6 bed Residential Style Assisted Living Facility in Palm Bay.

12 hour day shifts needed 3 times per week. Shifts are 9:30am- 9:30pm

Must be able to work on weekends

You must be reliable, trustworthy, and friendly ; and meet the following state required criteria:

1. You MUST be able to pass a level two background check (State requirement) and have this complete.

2. You MUST have an up to date CPR/ First Aid certification. ( Or be willing to get it done)

3. You MUST have your updated 6 hour in person med class certification to be able to assist with the self-administration of medication. (Or be willing to get it done)

4. You MUST be able to obtain a letter from your healthcare provider stating you are free from signs and symptoms of communicable disease ; along with a negative tuberculosis test.

Duties:

- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Assist with the self administration of medication according to prescribed schedules

- Assist with mobility and transfers, including positioning

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure resident privacy and confidentiality
