Position: Warehouse Help / Tire and Wheel Technician
Type: Part-Time (approximately 25 hours per week, with potential to transition to full-time)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 9:00 AM and working until tasks are complete.
Pay: $15–$20 per hour, based on experience
Overview
We are a small but growing tire and wheel company that ships wheels and tires across the U.S. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as Warehouse Help / Tire and Wheel Technician. This position involves a mix of warehouse organization, shipping and receiving duties, light mechanical tasks, and equipment maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be organized, honest, punctual, and physically capable of handling the daily demands of the role, including lifting 15–100 lbs regularly. Please note, the warehouse is non-air-conditioned and can become extremely hot during the summer months. If you have physical limitations or difficulty working in a hot and physically demanding environment, this may not be the right fit for you.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy warehouse environment.
Ensure the workspace is organized for efficiency and safety.
Shipping and Receiving:
Package and ship wheels and tires to customers throughout the U.S.
Receive and organize incoming shipments, including occasional containers.
Check inventory and ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
Light Mechanical Duties:
Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on tire and wheel equipment, including mounting and balancing machines.
Keep the forklift in good working order through routine maintenance and inspections.
General Duties:
Assist with inventory management as needed.
Support the team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
Ability to regularly lift and handle items weighing 15–100 lbs.
Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned warehouse that can get extremely hot during summer months.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Honest, punctual, and hardworking.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Previous experience with tire and wheel equipment is a bonus.
Compensation
Starting pay: $15–$20 per hour, based on experience.
Approximately 25 hours per week, with potential to transition to a full-time role based on performance.
