SERVICE ELECTRICIAN
Florida, Sarasota-bradenton, 34243 Sarasota-bradenton USAWe are currently seeking experienced Service Electricians to join our client's team, a leading state-licensed electrical contractor with two locations in Florida. Specializing in residential, industrial, and commercial electrical services, our client is looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to providing top-tier customer service and quality workmanship.
Position Overview:
As a Service Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role will also involve working on new construction projects for both commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an excellent work ethic, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical systems, including both single-phase and three-phase systems.
Perform repairs that meet or exceed National Electrical Code standards.
Operate diagnostic tools and meters to evaluate electrical systems effectively.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic control equipment and circuits.
Complete rough-in and trim-out work for new construction in both commercial and residential environments.
Fill out necessary paperwork accurately, provide estimates, and educate customers on the work being done and associated costs.
Work in confined spaces, such as attics and crawl spaces, as needed.
Maintain a professional and clean appearance, always providing the highest level of customer service.
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Be willing to work overtime when necessary, including on-call duties with overtime pay.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical field, with at least 2 years of service experience (industrial experience is a plus).
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems.
Must have a complete set of tools for electrical work.
Clean driving record and willingness to submit to a background check and drug test.
Physically capable of lifting and performing work without restrictions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and company procedures.
