Field Crew Assistant Surveyor - Rodman

Do you enjoy working outdoors? Do you enjoy a change of location and equipment? Do you like playing with toys and electronics? One day our field crew isworking local at a commercial construction site, the next day they could be in South Florida working on the beach or in a boat surveying a channel. Requirements:​​​​​​​

A clean driving record, background check and drug test.

Withstand Floridaweather conditions, walk on rugged terrain and able be to swim. (We sometimes work from boats or beaches, and you need to be able to swim in case you fall in).

Be able to carry equipment (up to 50 pounds)

Follow directions and take notes to remember directions

Have a good attitude.

Adhere to safety policies & procedures.

Mathematical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail.

Previous experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

Conduct surveys on land and water sites.

Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features.

Report on survey results and present findings to professionals.

Collaborate with professionals.

Transporting and setting up instruments/equipment.

Use Trimble survey instruments.

Assist with loading of equipment, boats, off-road vehicles and Hydrotek.

Field notes: read, write and map.

This field position will sometimes require travel throughout Florida. This is a full-time position with paid travel expenses and a $50 per diem allowance for meals per night.

Looking for all surveying positions (Rodman, Crew Chief, Instrument Person, CADD Tech: Pay ranging between $15-$25/hr. This is an entry level position, pay is based on level experience.
