Assistant Boat Mechanic

Assistant to the Marine Mechanic (Bradenton/Sarasota)

Must have minimum of five years experience

A well established boating business (20 years) is looking to hire an assistant marine mechanic to work with our team to maintain and repair the vessels at our locations along Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, etc. This job has a lot of variety and you must be able to multitask as you will be working from many locations on different types of boats. Mainly working on outboard Mercury and Yamaha motors. You will be responsible for fuel filters, pumps, spark plugs, electrical, etc. as well as other needed mechanical repairs, troubleshooting and aesthetic improvement of the fleet.

Certified marine mechanic degree is a plus

Good customer service skills.

A valid driver's license and able to tow boats.

Clean tidy appearance.

Hard working and honest.

Pay is bi-weekly. 90 day probationary period.
