Experienced Caregiver for Elderly Gentleman

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to provide dedicated care for our 95-year-old father. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in elder care, including expertise in managing a colostomy bag.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Colostomy Care: Skilled in changing and maintaining colostomy bags, ensuring hygiene and comfort

Mobility Assistance: Help with transfers and mobility around the home

Health Monitoring: Administer medications, monitor health, and report any changes

Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding as needed

Companionship: Engage in conversation and activities to provide emotional support

Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and run errands

Transportation: Drive to and from medical appointments and other necessary outings

We already have several dedicated caregivers alternating shifts. We need another person—either full time or part time—who can work at least one weekend shift. Day hours are 7 am to 5 pm, night shifts are 5 pm to 7 am. This is not a live-in position.
