Diesel Technician Mechanic

Global commercial equipment rental company is now hiring experienced Diesel Technicians for the Orlando facility. Our ideal candidate will be performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance on equipment including industrial and commercial pumps. Company is a gold standard in the industry and offers growth opportunity for those wanting mobility.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 5pm (Overtime available)

Responsibilities:

-Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in diesel engines and pumps

-Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify any potential issues or safety concerns

-Conduct diagnostic tests on equipment

-Perform brake repairs and alignments

-Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Requirements:

-Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance

-Proficiency in diagnosing electrical issues in diesel engines

-Ability to climb and bend repetitively

-Must have own tools to perform all necessary tasks

-Familiarity with water pumps is a plus

-Certification or degree in Automotive Technology or related field is preferred

-Must have a valid driver's license

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-Ability to work independently

-Must have basic knowledge of using a computer

-Subject to drug screen and background check
