Shop Helper/Apprentice

Orlando Fabrication & Machine Shop is looking to hire a Shop Helper or Apprentice.

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

Saw Cutting

Grinding

Deburring

Packaging

Material Handling

Basic Machine Operation

Assembly

Advanced Training to learn and run the following equipment may become available:

Manual Mill

Manual Lathe

Press Brake

CNC Mill

CNC Lathe

Welding

Other Production Equipment

Qualifications Must Include:

Able to lift and move heavy items (assistance provided on overweight items)

Experience with basic hand tools

Strong mechanical aptitude

Stable work history, with verifiable references

Able to read a tape measure

Excellent attention to detail

Able to work as a team and individually

Basic math skills

Basic computer skills

Experience with a forklift is a plus

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English, fluently

Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time 40 hrs a week occasional overtime - Paid Weekly. Hours 07:00-03:30 Mon-Fri. 401k, Medical (50% Paid by Company), Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays and Vacation.

Compensation:

$14.00 - $18.00 DOE
