Project Logistics Specialist
Florida, Orlando, 32801 Orlando USAA Snapshot of Your DayPosition will be primarily responsible for providing logistic support to the
Grid Technology Substation team. This will involve supporting the sales process
with logistics budgetary pricing, the execution process with contracting and
coordinating deliveries of various Grid Technology components to project sites
or warehouses and updating the project manager, customer and other stakeholders
with the status.How You’ll Make an Impact Responsible for receiving requests for pricing, following
an established process to log the information and retrieve pricing from
logistics partners in a timely manner. Serve as primary interface
with sales channels on all aspects of logistics budgetary pricing and concepts.
Person will evaluate the concepts
proposed by logistics partners to identify risks and work to mitigate them in
the budgetary phase. Work with project
management team to contract and coordinate the delivery of awarded orders.Work with the shippers
to coordinate vessel bookings, documentation control, Customs processes (ISF,
Clearances), etc. Provide organized
reporting project manager as to the status of deliveries and follow up with
documentation to close out the order as needed.Will develop supplier
relationships and help develop supplier onboarding processesWhat You Bring Position requires experience logistics, including
contracting freight forwarders and trucking companies as well as experience in
international transportation and documentation requirements. Good organizational
skills to respond to multiple inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Ability to work well in teams interacting routinely with finance, marketing, and
external customers Must understand
