Job Description SoarTech’s Contracts and Procurement department is seeking a part time, temporary Intern who is interested in helping support the management of our research, development, and implementation of this exciting technology into everyday operations. This is an entry-level position where the individual will be able to apply business administration fundamentals, concepts, and procedures that will expand their knowledge into workforce level experience. This teammate will be responsible for supporting the Director of Contracts and Compliance with departmental tasks and purchasing processes. This intern will support the management and revision of department data repositories and complete data entry tasking. Individuals will be asked to work across numerous departments at the organization such as accounting, and the Program Management Office. Duties and Responsibilities

Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate contract records in Salesforce, including contract details, milestones, amendments, and extensions.

Support the Contracts Management team in tracking contract performance, deadlines, and compliance requirements.

Conduct basic analysis of contract data to identify potential risks, discrepancies, or opportunities for process improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and project management, to gather and verify information needed for contract processing.

Help organize and maintain electronic contract files and documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Basic understanding of contract management principles and government contracting is a plus.

Prior experience with Salesforce and proficiency in data entry and database management.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint.

Must be detailed oriented, capable of taking detailed meeting notes, and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

An understanding/familiarity with SharePoint is highly desirable.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
