Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionThis role plays a crucial role in the electronic systems development for high-performance aerial systems, ground stations, and test fixtures. This position requires working closely with staff to support the design and development of electrical solutions, from initial concept through production. While focusing on learning and applying engineering principles, this role contributes to PCB design, testing, and the refinement of our products to ensure they meet the rigorous demands of our clients. This position offers the opportunity to grow in technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills under the mentorship of experienced engineers. The Electrical Engineer will assist in identifying and addressing electronic and operational issues, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world setting.Hard Skills

Developing high-power and control electronics for aerial systems

Supporting aspects of PCB design, including schematic capture, layout, and testing

Learning and applying advanced PCB layout techniques

Using ECAD and simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice)

Conducting electronics failure analysis and supporting mitigation strategies

Assisting with RF Systems/MIL-STD-461 and RF noise mitigation efforts

Developing and improving electronics documentation from design to manufacturing to testing

Soft Skills

Working with technicians to support electronic assembly and test procedures

Contributing ideas for new features or products under guidance

Collaborating with other engineers and contract manufacturers

Engaging in learning opportunities to understand unmanned systems for product enhancement and troubleshooting

Eagerness to learn all phases of PCB design
