Entry Level Network Operations Center Operator / Technician position in

North Miami Beach with focus on satellite and Internet distribution of TV channels

Ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Preferred recent graduates from Technical High School or local college with AA in any technical area : computers, network, TV broadcasting

Basic Knowledge of Computers ( Word, Excel, email, networking)

Fluent English (speaking and writing ) Spanish highly desirable but not mandatory

Ability to answer and make phone calls interacting with customers (TV & cable Networks ) and service providers ( fiber optic , electricity, satellite )

Willing to develop i knowledge of systems in order to develop the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues independently

Ability to memorize facility emergency procedures, and perform the procedures independently

Willing to work on Graveyard shifts and weekends on fixed schedule

Willing to be trained and start at operational level with potential to growth to supervisory and / or to systems development /integration areas.

Shift Operator is responsible for operations monitoring and technical support and escalation to higher levels,covering the following systems:

TV Signal Processing Servers :Play Out, Video Recording , Editing

Satellite Downlink of TV channels

IP Networking - Switches, Routers, Servers

Video Encoders and Multiplexers

Satellite Uplink system

NOC with Monitoring Multiviewers, Spectrum Analyzers , Monitoring software

IP Transmission

OTT / IPTV / Streaming operations ,

Monitoring Alarms from Infra-Structure - Electrical, UPS, Generator, Air Conditioning, Fiber Optics
