Job TitlePayroll Coordinator, Part TimeJob Description SummaryJob DescriptionPayroll CoordinatorThe Payroll Coordinator manages the payroll process ensuring all employees a paid accurately and on time. Key responsibilities:

Process Payroll: Oversee the processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate input of hours.

Maintain employee records: Keep up to date records of employee information.

Resolve payroll discrepancies: Address and resolve any discrepancies or queries related to employee pay.

Prepare reports: Generate payroll reports for management, and LCP tracker.

Tracks attendance and PTO.

Coordinate with HR: Collaborates with Human resources department to ensure accurate employee data and to manage benefits, contributions, and deductions.

Tax filing and documentation: Handles the filing of payroll related taxes and preparation of necessary documents like W2s and 1099s.

Timekeeping Management: Oversee or assist with the timekeeping system, ensuring accurate tracking of hours worked, overtime, and leave.

Process Payroll Adjustments: Process any necessary adjustments to pay, such as bonuses, raises, and retroactive pay.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees and managers on timekeeping and payroll procedures.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve the payroll process for efficiency and accuracy.

Data Security and Confidentiality: Maintain the highest standards of data security and confidentiality concerning employee records and payroll data.

Liaise with External Entities: Coordinate with external entities such as payroll service providers, auditors, and government agencies as required.

Handle Garnishments and Levies: Process court-ordered garnishments and tax levies in accordance with legal requirements HR Manager Overseeing Credentialing, Onboarding, Union Activities
